La Catedral fue construida en 1831 como primera iglesia cristiana no romana en América Latina y ha mantenido un ministerio ininterrumpido hasta la fecha.
El templo fue declarado "Monumento Histórico Artístico Nacional" en el año 2000 y hoy les da una sincera bienvenida a todos los que están buscando a Dios en estos tiempos confusos y convulsionados.

Anglican Cathedral of St. John the Baptist

The Anglican (Episcopal) Cathedral of St. John the Baptist was built in 1831 as the first non - Roman Catholic Christian Church in South America and has maintained an uninterrupted tradition of worship till this day.
The cathedral building was declared a “National Historic and Artistic Monument ” in the year 2000. We offer a sincere welcome to all who are seeking God in these confused and uncertain times!
